Wow. Most critics like Aliens, I believe.

Number 2 is just flat-out wrong.

And number 3 is not unpopular.

Think harder next time, champ.

[/ QUOTE ]

Was thinking similarly.

Sadly, however, it's not all that unpopular.

Echo that some of you suck at judging what is unpopular around OOT.

The Next Generation was superior to the original Star Trek series.

I hate just about everything about Japanese culture.

Anime is awful and it has ruined animation.

The food is marginal at best and is the worst of the Asian cuisines.

Their porn is disturbing instead of erotic.

The women aren't particularly good looking.

The culture is bizarre and seems terribly superficial and repressive.

Japan has about five good things they have exported:

Cars that work
Electronics
Good video games
Kazuo Ishiguro
Akira Kurusawa

wdcbooks,

There's like 2 anime series that are good, and a small handful of movies. But by and large, anime sucks.

wdw:

You could basically say the same thing for any mainstream culture in the world...you just happen to know a little more about Japan than, say, Burundi. Burundi's indie-rock scene, OTOH, is sweet.

Also, You left off:

Good: Most japanese punk rock. Guitar Wolf, Registrators, 5678s

bad: Gospe-rats (aka WTF! HKchkCHCKChchCKCKHjhjhG!)

I always prefer small breasts to large ones.

Most of the Maxim style pinup girls are far too homogenous to be attractive or interesting. They are completely interchangable.

Pop music (Top 40) today is certainly no worse than it ever was, and much better than many other eras.

Believing in homeopathy, alternative medicine, astrology, or the power of crystals makes you an idiot, and you might just be an undiagnosed retard.

[/ QUOTE ]

i'll have to agree with everything here.
