Everything he is teaching me about poker, he is doing because he believes I have raw talent and can help refine it and teach me the technical aspects that I am lacking.

LOL, yep. He chose to mentor you because of your raw talent!

well Brandi could make alot of money if she just got semi-decent or caught a few lucky breaks. And even more if she learned to speak Mandarin!

And what is the threshold for "raw talent" when it comes to poker? Over 8 years old and not drooling?

Seriously, is there a movie playing in your head where you are some tragic figure? A brilliant poker player that's misunderstood? Where exploitation and manipulation are redefined as mental toughness to stay afloat in a male dominated game?

The prima facie evidence supports the conclusion that you are mediocrity trying to pass itself off as exceptional. The 1k up to 200k statement begs credulity. IT SEEMS you play above your talent level. IT SEEMS you're just a girl so desperate to stay a part of the poker scene/lifestyle that you'll do anything- well, except get a job or play lower to replenish your roll. Laboring in obscurity- like a ton of good poker players must do from time to time- is not even within your realm of thought IT SEEMS. IT SEEMS that if/when you make a big cash that it will not be chalked up to talent but rather the variance of constantly being propped up.

Of course I am one of those pathetic creatures basing all of this on second hand speculation and your posts. Perhaps some time in the "Well" could clear up some of these erroneous impressions.

Brandi WELL please.
