Barry G It would be great if you could ask Phil to share his story on here.

I have heard several angles from several ppl, directly and not directly related, and I feel things would be more clear if Phil just made his statement on here.

I just feel without his statement, he will not have a fair chance in this discussion. (you seem legit BTW, but it is different, Phil's direct words would have more resonance)

I thought he thought the arbitrators Phil brought in were biased.

The real question is how did Phil Ivey get so good at poker without reading 2+2 books. I am shocked and amazed.

And that is the key to this whole situation. This isn't about Ram not paying because he got cheated/hustled/whatever. This is about Ram being so far in the hole that he's trying to create an excuse to weasel out of paying off a huge sum of money. If it was less money, he would've paid even if he actually thought he was cheated.

I don't understand why this whole situation has been blown so far out of proportion. Ram screwed up by not having the discipline to stop when he saw that he could not win. It's his own fault and he should pay.

I beleive him too. Exactly as much I beleive Ariston or Barny Boatman.
