Apropos extra day added to the schedule, etc:

It would have cost me ~$2900 to change my flight to the next day (the 3rd) or any day until the 12th. In other words to change my flight for a reasonable fee ($200), I'd have to stick around Monte Carlo for an extra ten days or so (or buy a new flight, also expensive).

I decided to buy a new flight on AerLingus to take me from Nice to Dublin (for Irish Poker Open) to LA, which cost $700. I emailed Stars and I really hope they reimburse all or most of that $700 for having changed the schedule.

hah, I went to this ridiculously expensive place. I bought a suade jacket for $1k... I saw this unreal blue leather jacket I was gonna buy, then I looked at the price tag and it was $3k.... under bankrolled for that store, apparently.

ugh this is gross, i have zero euros and need to buy in direct heh.

nowhere in my town has a good amount of euros cos i left it too late and the biggest they have is 50s and not many of them.
