Why'd you draft Atkins when you had Wright?

EDIT: I didn't notice there were 2 UTIL positions, but I think at that stage in the draft you could have been better off picking someone who would be a starting positional player.

The OF/2B/1B/C guys I wanted I was able to wait for...I thought I'd be able to pick up guys like Fielder/Crisp/Chris Young(just missed him) and others. And based on PFM Atkins was far and away the best player on the board.

In a league that counts total bases and OBP instead of AVG, who's a better 2B, Marcus Giles or Jorge Cantu?

I'm in a traditional 5x5 Roto league with one exception :

It has the typical 12 Offensive positions but only 6 Pitcher slots.

How should this effect my draft?

I'm thinking Santana's value goes way up, and maybe the other top tier goes up a bit too, but then every other pitcher is pretty much replaceable.

Does that make sense?

The elite SPs (maybe top 10 or so) really go up at the expense of crappy SPs. Middle of the road SPs only see marginal worth improvement.

In H2H I'd punt saves as even the best closer will only average like 1.5 - 2 saves a week and at most you can only carry 1 and the variance will lead to a few blowouts and a few dry weeks.

Even in rotisserie, saves go down because there will be lots of freely available saves on the waiver wire as most teams can carry only 1 closer.

Which scoring format is it and what is your innings minimum?
