We are dealing with several processors right now to handle the load. Unfortunately the communication between our front line support and one of them was less than optimal. It has since been addressed.
The heads up blind structure should be addressed in the next release. I will follow up on the free t-shirts. Larger cards at the table are in the pipeline. The Colts are -7 +100 for those interested, the total is 48, the money line is -250/+150. Fred Balfour GM WSEX.com |

I just had a bad experience with WSEX and wonder if others have had similar problems. I was the BB in a 6max 3/6 limit game and was dealt 22. UTG raised and everybody called -- which is damn rare for a WSEX game. A deuce came on the flop giving me a set. SB checked, and before I could even think about whether to bet or play slow, the software immediately folded my hand. AA eventually won a $61 pot. I'd been folded out of hands by the software before, but never when it cost me $61.
WSEX was willing to refund the $6 I had invested. I understand their logic. They are ignoring the results of the hand and are returning what I actually had in the pot. The only way that is fair, however is if they ignore the results all the time and are willing to rebund my $6 even when I would have folded the hand anyway. However, when I described such a hand to the person helping me, Holly, she refused any payment. In that hand I was 2 off the button in a 6max 5/10 limit game and was holding 98s. UTG folded, I called, button raised, SB reraised, I called the reraise and everybody else folded. 3 to the flop, and the flop comes T96 rainbox. I have middle pair and a gut shot. SB bets and the software folds me out. Button folds and SB wins without going to showdown. This time I ask for my $15 back since the hand didn't go to showdown, and there is no way of knowing who would have won. I am told that I didn't have the best hand and would get paid nothing. I was told that the decisions were made by the manager of the poker department, not the GM. And to be fair, when I mentioned that I thought this situation would be of interest to 2+2ers, they decided to offer me 31.50 -- half of the first pot I was folded out of. From what I have read from the GM, I think he would have found a fairer solution. Anybody else have similar problems? Mind you, this was not a disconnect problem. The software folded me out of each hand. |

They also refunded my $30 overnight fee because the check was two days late. Very nice to see this in the current state.

[/ QUOTE ] I have not had any problems with the software folding hands for months. It used to happen due to software lag, but they improved that to the point I never have any problem any more. Are you running a particularily old slow computer? Or running a lot of very intensive programs alongside WPEX? |
