I agree that paying Ben that much is not worth it. That signing could be their undoing in a few years. I personally thought they should have kept Chandler....

I feel the same way. They needed to take whatever pieces they could have and gone after Garnett - they have the players and draft picks to make it happen.

Chandler was a fine defensive center who did not need to be moved.

I thought they should have gone after Al Harington. Ben is good, I'm just not sure he fits in with what they are trying to do in Chicago. That said, the core of that team is VERY, VERY young and they're all going to be hitting their prime right around when Wallace leaves.

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem is all they're contracts are up in either '07 or '08 and a good portion of cash is locked up in Ben.

Can anyone help a brother out?

I have searched google, clippers.com, etc. etc. but I cannot find any info on Clippers radio affiliates. Now, they may not have any since the Lakers are the big deal in southern Cal, but does anyone have any information on Clippers radio affiliates for zip 93035?

TY for any help.

Its the throw back trend which is to blame. Everyone wanted new styles and different looks. Its gotten out of hand.

You don't think the Bulls have enough offense, even with Wallace out there?

[/ QUOTE ]

They have very few guys that can create their own shots, particularly going towards the basket. They have no guys to draw fouls on the other team. They have no inside presense. Their offense basically consists of a good PG setting up shooters and a very streaky SG that some believe would be better served as a 6th man being the go to guy.

I was wrong about this team. I thought they'd be a championship contender. They won't.

with regards to the bulls:

i dont think any of you have any idea of how bad ben gordon actually is.

i watched the fourth quarter of the lakers bulls game yesterday and he was just launching threes, and he still looks confused on defense.

i realized hes become the exact same player as ricky davis, who i absolutely love. but that type of player (low FG percentage, high TO rate, no true position) kills a team while hes out there.

also...thabo sefolosha (sp?) is an absolute stud and needs to be starting for them. the doug christie comparisons are perfect. either way, chicago reallllly needs to make a trade to a team that needs some depth.

I saw them play the rockets the other day and he looked like God, he almost single handedly put them back in the game, shooting incredibly well.

Putting my nuts on the line, I predict a 10+ point Suns win tonight against the Warriors. This on the heels of blowing yet another double digit fourth quarter lead the other night, this time in Utah. They are clearly better than the 9-1 Jazz and it was frustrating to watch. Mostly I was extremely pissed because even though the reffing seemed decent, that assclown Bernie Fryer was calling the game, and he's a notorious homer. No Nash + Fryer reffing should have been enough to keep me from watching, but I couldn't help myself.
