Hey guys,

I need some advice. I got from $1000 to $600 and I am forced to grind my way again at the 25NL tables. I am currently playing at Party Poker, but I would like to try another site. Maybe a change a scenery will help my game. I'd like to do a deposit bonus, which I will be able to gain (almost) the maximum out and which I can clear at 25NL. Any suggestions?

Ridiculous. I had to go back to 25NL again, where the tables are incredibly juicy at night. Obviously these hands happen within the span of about 2 minutes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude if you play anything like you post ATM you are getting waaaaaaaaaay too emotional.

It's just a game - [censored] happens - relax a little.

Thats where alot of lst months buyins went - 3bet AI with sets and combo draws on the flop...

[ QUOTE ]

I'd take more value + variance any day over less value and less variance.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure I quite agree with you there.
I won't take every potentially EV play for more value with more variance. E.g. I won't coniflip 1/2 stack with say 99
vs an opponent thats pushing AI alot - high variance and yes prob. EV but I'll choose a more EV spot and stack him with TPNK.

When I meant marginal value spots I mean like TT when K lands on the turn or the river is a yucky card and I can't bet as much (or so I think) because I doubt villan will call.

I did c/r AI today with 88 vs a turn PSB (I had a read )
so I don't mind variance as long as it figures to be a good play.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well with the right music on the background (seriously) I am very sturdy in regards to variance. I tend to tilt very quickly though if I feel I made a incorrect play. I can handle 5 suck outs in a row, but if I make a few incorrect plays I'll start to tilt in no time. Yeah my brain is wired strangely.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm like this too. Recently I misplayed a hand and uncharacteristically let someone catch up to me, after the showdown I stood up and let out a big "F***"! If I get a bad beat, I just keep trucking. The good thing with me is I tend not to tilt that bad when I do, I just fume for a few hands and then I'm over it.

I know these posts suck, but anybody want to hook me up with some money on Pokerstars until Monday? I cashed out last week with the legislation, and now I'm kind of stuck until my Neteller deposit hits. I'd prefer to get some poker in this weekend.

I'm looking for either $200 or $400 so I can play NL50 or NL100. I'll give you $205/$410 back when my Neteller deposit hits. I'd expect this to happen no later than Monday.

Blah, sorry for posting this crap, and if nobody trusts me, I understand. If anybody can help, though, it'd be much appreciated.

LOL live poker. 3 hours of $1/$2 NL at a local club in NY = + $630!! $200/hr sustainable...right?

Two fun hands.

Hand 1

EP LAG (covers table) raises a straddled pot to $25. Two callers in front of me (both ~$200), I ($325) look down at K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and raise to $125 straight. Folds to villain who instapushes AI. I call and Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] no good.

Hand 2

2 Limpers to button (~$325) who raises to $17. I (cover) call in BB with 77, 2 limpers call.

Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I lead out $50 into into ~$70 pot. Folds to button who shoves AI for $250 more. I think and call...A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] no good sir.

Well I don't go on crazy monkey tilt if I make mistakes, but I go on a very subtle tilt where I am overplaying hands and playing way to loose in EP. This usually continue's untill I figure out wtf I'm doing after which I immediatley quit for the day.
Somehow I always tilt in the first week I move up a limit. Not a great way to move up at all...
