Who do you think will tire of this thread first, You or the forum?
When will this happen?

[/ QUOTE ]

Neither will completely tire. I predict that in like 6 months or something someone bumps this with an inane question and I will respond as if absolutely no time has passed.

Good suggestions; I've done the Walker/sculpture gardens with someone else, but perhaps I'll go with this one too, especially since it's been more than a year since I've gone. I've not been to Joe's garage...if you say it's good, i'll give it a whirl. At least I'll know whether we have similar taste for future suggestions .

Perhaps a trip report to follow.

Well yeah, a TR would be awesome . Of course, I have very little background info to work with here...plus I haven't been in MN in like 1.5 years. But the Walker of course still pwns and if Joe's Garage is still there then it probably still pwns.

So all that is left is for you to go pwn!

Yugo,

What game(s), other than poker, should I spend most of my time in Vegas playing in the future?

[/ QUOTE ]

Craps...especially if Irie can teach you how to play it in a +EV manner (so far only he and the lovely Brynn - who has a naked pic somewhere on this forum, - seem to be able to do it).

[ QUOTE ]

I took a big test in June and don't get results for another couple weeks. Did I pass?

[/ QUOTE ]

In the grand scheme of things it simply won't matter unless you want it to.

yeah you passed you donkey

[ QUOTE ]

Not counting this, have you ever read one of my posts?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think so...aren't there a couple or few "kev" type posters? I may have you confused so who knows.

[ QUOTE ]

How do I get over blowing $1,500 at the WSOP last week?

[/ QUOTE ]

Umm....go blow $500 at the Spearmint Rhino with bones and Irieguy.

Yugo,

Will the stigma of calling ourselves poker players in public ever go away or will we just have to live with this forever?

[/ QUOTE ]

What stigma? I tell people I play poker all the time and get nothing but positive feedback (but of course I tell them in an excited/positive way without hesitation or reservation).

[ QUOTE ]

Is there any chance that we will ever gain the acceptance that golf has?

Umm....dude, as far as I'm concerned saying I play poker >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;> than saying I play golf.

First time poster, long time lurker. What's the over/under on how long I have to post before I stop being considered a "n00b"

You seem to know your hoops. Is Sebastian Telfair any good? Will Pierce like playing with him?

Well slackermcslackeytown was a lurker for a while and then maybe a year and a bit ago burst onto the scene with goofiness, an established sttf friend and a unique stlye that brought him instant recognition as some rando poster no one had ever heard of, .

The Shadow of course basically pwn3d everyone and everything in 1 post..had several very nice followups and now is being lame with like "real life" and stuff, .

Frankly I consider like most posters who are newer than a year n00bs so you have your work cut out for you!!!

B/c I always get roy and foye mixed up? lol .

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes he's good. A *very* gifted passer and he reads the floor quite well. HOWEVER, tons of young players that have recently started their careers in Portland end up insane and play like absolute crap (except jermaine o neal) so he has that goin' against him.

What I think he really needs is a coach or veteran player to basically say "you are going to lead our team on the floor.....now GO!"

Pierce will like playing with him b/c Pierce decided at some point last year that he likes life and basketball again....with Pierce it's completely internal. Sometimes he seems to suck at life and sometimes he seems to pwn it.

Fwiw I think telfair will end up as an effective starting/backup pointguard maybe like darrel armstrong or something (but with no shot, lol).
