lol it's running on max do to converting of video demanding a lot of performance. It runs max no matter how good your computer is I think. My laptop totally sucks though, so this results in it taking ages.

Two things:

I'm getting a new TV in august, looking at a 44"-52" plasmas and lcd's... really interested in the 46" mitsubishi (mostly b/c of the dvi hook up)--- anyone have any suggestions

Also, my mouse is beginning to drive me crazy, I have a microsoft lazer mouse, but its getting old or something and starting to skip/lag a lot, anyone have any suggestions on mice aka mouses ?

check out the westinghouse. in the geeky tv/monitor forums (like AVS, widescreengaming.com, etc), they really like the westinghouse because of all the hookups and because of the value. you can get the 46 inch 1080P LCD for $1,500. my friend has one and it looks great, and i'm a bit of an A/V snob. so, unless you have the eyes of an eagle, you won't be able to tell much difference between that and a sony (which will cost you at least $1k more for the same size)

Just to get back in the game:

I'm on the button with AK, CO (17/14 over 200 hands) makes it $4, I reraise to $14, he calls, flop comes 78A with a flushdraw I believe.

He checks, I make it 22, he goes all-in. Do we call here?

Btw, get one of the sony lcd tv's, I really like their design. I've got a samsung myself, which is fine, but I really hate the glossy look, it just looks so cheap...

And in regards to the mouse, I just ordered this set:

But if the one below was compatible with a mac, I would have gone for that one.

Just for the mouse, this one is supposed to be good:

Kabouter, how well does the poker software work with a mac and what is your setup? Are you using a virtual pc or is there poker software for mac? And how does paHUD and pt work?

i've noticed SEVERAL 50nl 6max regs dropped down to 25nl (i did cuz i took out 90% of my roll for investing)

i tried 50nl the other day on stars, and it was torture. the games are getting tough.

That's very true, i used to be a 200nl regular for a long time, now I play 50 and 100nl mostly and have played as low as 25nl. I've seen other old 200nl regs at 25nl.

Well he had a small pocket pair, and hit his set on the flop. Just wondering, cause he seemed like a really decent player, calling oop to a 3bet with a low pocket pair, even with the guarantee that if you hit you can stack the villain isn't +ev is it?

Had practically the same hand again 5min ago:

100nl heads up table though:

I get AA

Villain raises to 3,5 I reraise to 12, villain calls

flop comes 6h9hJc

I bet $20, he goes allin, I call

Villain shows 99

lost $500 today, just wondering if the decisions I make are still good .

Only played with the macbook I ordered for my little brother, only used bootcamp though, and everything works fine then (you are simply running windows, so pokertracker/pahud works fine).

I will buy a mac, but I'm waiting on the updates, just bought the keyboard so I don't have to buy a new one when I get a mac in a couple of months.

I will be playing poker through parallels then though, it's like a small application that loads windows applications in macosx, so you don't have to use bootcamp (pahud/poker sites/pokertracker).
