73 + 46 + 45 + 45 = 209 HR. I am confused. [/ QUOTE ] Bonds was 36 on Opening Day 2001. |

That's still 136 HR.
All sites measure years by their birthday by August 1st, so that's a silly way to do it. |

[ QUOTE ]
Philadelphia is going on 94 consecutive sports seasons without a championship. Cleveland is going on 118 consecutive sports seasons without a championship. [/ QUOTE ] Damn, 118 sports-seasons is really glaring considering they only have 3 of the 4 major sports (I'm assuming you are only counting "the big 4"). |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The Arizona Cardinals franchise has never won a playoff game. [/ QUOTE ] False [/ QUOTE ] Yeah WTF. The rest of his post is interesting, but everybody in AZ remembers that Cardinals-Cowboys game. I mean, that crappy team has been here for twenty years and they've won a single playoff game, so we're gonna remember it. [/ QUOTE ] And "franchise" implies the inclusion of the stays in Chicago and St. Louis. Meaning that someone is forgetting the 1947 championship. [/ QUOTE ] The Cardinals are mind-bogglingly pathetic. If you go here they're basically the only team that dates back to the first year of the NFL (the Decatur Staleys did turn into the Chicago Bears in 1921). They were the Chicago Cardinals from 1920-1959, St. Louis Cardinals from 1960-1987, Phoenix Cardinals from 1988-1993, and Arizona Cardinals from 1994-present. In that time they have only 2 playoff wins, and the 1998 one against Dallas was on the road (1947 Championship game win was at Comiskey Park). That means in all the time they spent in St. Louis and Arizona, the local fans have not witnessed a single home playoff win. |
