DW Im not sure why you were trying to protect cROUNDER but I think the point in this matter is that we are a community, I think the reason Primordial (you can correct me) aired this issue in the HU forum was for two reasons:
-To protect others from someone we all have dealt with -To put pressure on cROUNDER to give back the money Both seem like completely legitimate reasons to post this and I applaud him for taking action and dealing with it in an appropriate way. cROUNDER is complaining because his issues are being aired, well I dont see anything wrong with this, yes you made a mistake now you deal with the consequences. If you want to be forgiven earn it, dont whine about it and try and get it censored. |

Hi guys,
I've only really been playing HU for a month or so, hopefully I'll become active in the forum. Basically I just want to introduce myself and post a little brag, I won ten buyins off this guy at .50/1 yesterday and saw him at 1/2 today. Maybe he was moving up to win back losses? He seems to play a decent game but for some reason mine is a natural fit over his. The bigger than norm preflop reraise was a result of history, he raised lots and seemed to call any reraise 80% of the time. I'm sure the call on the end wouldn't be profitable against most, i'm not even sure it was +EV against this guy, but it sure was fun. He'd just made a fair bit of a comeback to get his stack up and make us play really deep. Since I missed the Dee thread as I was on a 1.5 day vacation...
Deewhizzle, I tried numerous times to get Crounder to send back the money to Primordial. He kept blowing me off and trying to say another time or he wanted to mess with him etc. Only until after the thread was made did he finally pay him back and I suspect he asked BCM about it and BCM told him to pay it back (that is purely speculation on my part, the rest is a fact in my eyes). Whether he wanted to keep his balance at 6k or whatever is a moot point, it's not his money. It also does not matter if he likes, dislikes or thinks primo is the worst person in the world. A chop is a chop and if he backs out after the fact and messes around for 2 weeks to a month (depending on who's side of the story you believe) a thread is probably the right of the person who is owed the money. Imagine if Primo had won and [censored] around with paying him back, I guarantee a thread would have been up within 2 days. |

Beat: brought my dog over to my parents today and he decided to tear a hole in their 1200 dollar mattress. thus, i owe my parents 1200 bucks and it will most likely be coming out of my poker roll.
Question: When you guys are stressed about non-poker related issues and you try to play a session how much does it affect your level of play??? I just played a few 55s/105s and it was unreal how poorly I played. |

Yea I'm tired now, so I quit. Luckily I found a fish willing to play me multiple times.
Brag: Busted the fish. Beat: He couldn't afford the rake of the 3rd game after I went 1W, 1L and 1W for 2-1 and was short 6 bucks. Variance: His average stake was like 11 bucks and I assumed an alter ego of an ignorant fish when we started chatting (towards end of first game when I was in SAGE mode of shove or fold he freaked out and was wondering why I shoved. I started with "I got bored, lols" and my role as fish never stopped). |
