[ QUOTE ]
lyric, your graphs actually aren't that much different in terms of what they demonstrate about your play. what they tell me (to learn more you'd need to look at other filters): i) you're running bad when you get all-in on stars (even if u correct for stuff you're still prob running bad); ii) you're probably not beating either game for more than 1.5-2bb because you aren't winning enough in shown down pots to compensate for what you're losing in pots that don't go to showdown. you're either paying off too much when you're outdrawn or behind, not extracting enough value when you're ahead, or you're simply getting destroyed when neither of you has anything (this one prob matters most given your graphs). it could be (and likely is) some complicated relationship between all three. it could also be that your opponents are just running very well against you for an extended period of time. it could be other things. you'd need to look at a bunch of other filters to start eliminating hypotheses and even then it'd be imperfect process. your graphs also tell us that people on party show down worse hands relative to your hand ranges, so they probably read hands worse and play worse overall (but that isn't necessarily true, either!). stars looks like a much more aggressive and tenacious (but not in a mindless, call-stationy way) than party. shrug. the program does have it uses, namely helping people imitate successful styles. if phil adds some more specific board texture filters it'd be even better. [/ QUOTE ] Can you tell me which other filters to look at? Judging from other database runs I have done in the past, I do very well in small pots, winning more than my fair share. Additionally, my won $ when saw flop is about 47%, which should indicate I'm destroying my opponents when neither of us has anything. I value bet fairly religiously. My won $ at showdown is almost exacly 50%. I have been running bad on Stars, yes. Here is the last 7 weeks, more of the same, except all lines seem to be moving in tandem: ![]() And more of the same for all-in before river: ![]() Does anyone have a blue line that stays above the red line for extended periods of time? None of my graphs for any limit seem to show me running better than expected. Does anyone have a Party graph where the red/blue are very far apart? Seems strange that they follow so closely. |

[/ QUOTE ] wow. I do suck, but maybe I'm not as bad as i thought. I made several horrid plays upon hindsight. I still have to learn how to let go of a great hand after i know that i am beaten. well, gotta go back to the super-tiny stakes and try to grind back up to play .25NL. I promised myself not to deposit more until I proved that I could win to myself. Anyone want to donate a .25NL buyin or two? Just for scientific purposes, lol. stars screen name is the same as here just in case someone feels like it. |

Ok, look at this crap.
I'm screwing around with the filters and more or less satsfied with what I'm seeing until this garbage comes up. In nearly all my filtered (and unfiltered) graphs, my bet bars are slightly to well below my equity bars, until I come across my suited broadways. These are looking like MASSIVE spewage. Could other, otherwise equitable players, post screenshots of their suited broadways to help me compare and see if this is a unique leak to me, or just common to the nature of the game. Thanks ![]() This is fugging hideous. |

I run bad, Party and Stars are rigged!
Even worse, -1.5bb/100 worse than EV after 43k hands, -$3k drop in last 17k hands alone in NL: ![]() Note: Yes, I am probably not that good but seems like I had been getting my $ in pretty good AI if these graphs are right. Am I reading that right? Naj |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't have time to post the image but ya my suited broadway the red is above the blue on every street slightly on every street after 65k hands at nl 100 and 200. I dunno what this means. How do you look on Ax suited and Kx suited? Kx suited looks fine until the River where the blue is quite a bit higher than the red, Ax suited is ugly on the flop and turn as well, maybe because I'm drawing to flushes or something? Because the river looks fine. |
