I feel the same. The games at FTP are the softest during GMT mornings on workdays.
You got any theory why that is?

I got owned this morning. Why do I feel that after reraise from a TAG in the blinds after I raise and get a caller is a damn squeeze? And what do I do about it? calling with [censored] like AQo seems bad, but so does always folding.

Worst part of having a damn calling statino to your left. It leaves you open for the squeeze so damn often.

Basically what I'm asking is, how safe is my $ in FTP and will I ever have a problem withdrawing it?

[/ QUOTE ]

right now pretty dam safe. - FTP is a big name site - it's very well run and AFAIK playres funds are kept in an RBS (UK bank) account seperate to other comapny monies (same as Stars)

FTP *just* do poker - so in the event that some "poker is a game of skill" legal challenge is succesful or Poker gets a carveout somehow from the new legisilation US players will be able to play there completley legally, as it stands right now FTP are considering hteir action, but anticipate being able to allow US player ~270 days (till the new regulations are drawn up) at least to continue playing there.

I think they will go the way Party has eventually (i.e. suspend but not totally cancel US players) unless some Poker carve out thing hapens or similar - tho I hope not.

My money is heading back to FTP - I have 100% faith in the ability of FTP to remain solvent - to allow US players to play as long as possible , and be one of the first of the big names to re-allow US gamers if they have to take teh suspension route. FWIW my lay person interpretation (which seems to tie in with some experienced gaming lawyers) is that withdrawls from poker sites are not covered by the legislation in the slightest and consequently I firmly believe you will never ever have a problem withdrawing funds from FTP - the method might turn out to be a bit protracted in a few weeks - but I am sure they will honour all cashout requests 100%

In the short term for the next ~270 days I expect very little change in FTP no matter where in the world you play from (except a lot of Parties fishies might well head in their direction - fx: rubs hands)

This game is ridiculous. No graphs or screenshots right now b/c I'm at work, but in <3K hands so far in October I have made more than I made in >15K hands in September. Running at 19PTBB/100.

The great thing is, September started out in virtually the same way, only to be interrupted by a 10 buyin downswing mid-month. I'm not celebrating just yet.

AFAIK
FTP before all this legislative action, started relocating all their resources/people to Dublin, Ireland except servers @ kahnawake tribal lands.
