question is, how often do you make a turnbet here against an unknown?

(I just sat down,no reads. I would think 80% check, 20% bet is that okay?)
didn't think this deserves a new topic so hope to get some advise here. and lol @ the 3 pair hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

one bump before I make a topic about it.
I read a couple of times that hands that are not that interesting should be posted here so that's why I ask here.

thx in advance.

question for ssnl donkament experts:

are you paying attention to your table in the similar fashion that you would at a 6m table? i can't seem to concentrate and just browse forums/watch tv while playing. might be one of the reasons why i suck at donkaments.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't pay attention at 6max or MTT.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't pay attention at all really. PT highlights some stuff. Of course I notice if a guy plays at me a few times.

I dont play the real high level donkaments. Maybe, it's necessary to pay attention there.

[/ QUOTE ]

I mean seriously, when your only plays are to shove/fold, why pay attention right?

[/ QUOTE ]

haha...i was talking about the tournies...oh well, beating 100NL doesn't take much attention either in the grand scheme. I'm actually of the firm belief that most guys outthink themselves at this level. Just like a chess master, it's not important to weigh in every variable and alternative, it's important to pick out the 2 or 3 most important ones.

BTW, jealous?

I'm very jealous. I'm on my first losing month since I started playing last october.

Oh, and yes, I'm such a crybaby. I was complaining about running/playing bad and then I decided to make a 2-table NL100 video (for analysis). Played a 45 minute session, ran good an finished at +$350. It felt really good to think through the hands aloud. I guess autopilot/spewmode sets in very easily for me and it would probably help to verbalize my though process all the time...?

i'm not a crybaby, but I've picked up a very ugly Hellmuth-like habit of laughing at how bad my opponents play and telling them such.
