Victor,

If you had to choose between having Lebron James on your favorite basketball team or a free bacon egg and cheese on a bagel sandwich for breakfast every morning for 8 years which would you choose?

Ooh sick site, thanks vic.

man, larry hughes is sickly overpaid. makes me sick.

Z is a solid Center but his contract extends to 2009/2010.. what the hell! he's aging and injury prone.

eric snow and drew gooden are such deadweight.

its sad bc it looks as tho the cavs dont have much flexibility, Varejo is a must hold onto but who knows if they will be able to. atleast they have the qualifying offer tag on pavlovic.

i really dont understand why they have so many ~long term deals with overrated older players, cleveland is more or less handicapped.

it would be awesome if they coudl find a way to unload snow gooden hughes in the offseason but what gm would want those guys for those prices.

Meanwhile, Raptors fans suddenly become more optimistic about advancing to the second round.

Victor- We have Bird rights on Varejao and Sasha, if we want them we can keep them.

Gibson might be trouble if become becomes vastly, vastly better than he is right now, but I'm not worried about that. Our problems aren't cap-related so much as terribleness related. Hughes, Snow, and Illgauskas are all completely untradeable disasters, and our first round pick isn't worth much in trade or likely to return a good player.

Gooden is getting an absurd amount of hate in this thread. He's a good rebounder with a decent J, he's a slightly smaller and more athletic Illgauskas.

right, but it will cost us luxury tax penalties correct? i read up nba salary cap today but it really doesnt make much sense to me.

i agree. ive always been a gooden fan (kinda) and stood up for him in this thread. hes super athletic, very good rebounder, good low post moves and decent midrange jumper. just very inconsistent. poor defender and not too smart. sometimes hes unstoppable tho.

It might cost us a few dollars, but allegedly Gilbert is willing to spend to win.

I don't know if you guys check out the video section of NBA.com, but they have all the top plays for the month of March up. One of the categories that they are having a top 10 countdown for is "moves".

Anyway, how sad is it that the number one play is a blatant travel? I mean it seems like they're just embracing how much of a mockery the non-calls have become.

Sorry to sound like an old fart, but I just thought it was ridiculous.

ha.. that's a major walk.

mandatory Cs update: not to be outdone by Milwaukee's tank attempts, Al Jefferson reportedly banged knees with Gomes in practice today and will miss tomorrow's game. No Pierce, no Al. Eat that Bucks.
