Ok I'll stop being such a buzzkill and share my latest happenings:

So this weekend I went up to visit a 2+2 friend who pimps da ladies at law school in beautiful Davis, California. Talking to one of his friends last weekend somehow the fact that he had a tall attractive poker playing friend visiting him this weekend came up and she was like "wow I want to meet him" and friend told me that he thinks she's pretty horny so this was probably going to end well for me.

So, Friday night we go out to bars and hang out and nothing too exciting happens (girl he mentioned me to wasn't there). We're talking to a guy that knows this chick and he's like "yeah soandso has a midterm on Monday, there's absolutely no way you're gonna get her to come out this weekend" and 2+2 friend is like "oh yeah I will" and dude is like "no, you definitely aren't" and they bet a future shot of alcohol on whether or not 2+2 friend will get my hookup to come out to bars or w/e with us.

Saturday rolls around, post-Cal-Poly-63-UC-Davis-28 football game he calls up hookup chick and she's like "yeah I don't think I can I have a [censored] of studying to do" cause apparently law students have no lives. While we're driving up to Sacramento to get dinner with a bunch of ppl at some chick's house she texts him and is like "thanks for the invite, hopefully I'll meet your hot poker playing friend soon [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]" WHY GOD DO YOU DO THIS TO ME

Ok so we get to some chick's house and "some chick" is actually fairly cute and she also has an insane roommate who appears to want to have sex with anything that moves. Not sure if this is just a super aggressive nature or if she really does want to. Anyway we eat dinner (while waiting for food to get ready we somehow randomly started a 6-handed 100bb freezeout for fun; obv I get HU with 2+2er in like 30 hands before dinner is ready) and before we go out to a show at a club "some chick" is like yo goofy take a shot with me so I do and we go to the club and she tries to dance with me but I'm basically the worst dancer ever so that doesn't work. At one point she kinda laughed at me and I was like yeah ok you just blew your chance to dance with me and she gave me this wide-open-mouthed "I can't believe you just said that look" except while smiling and I'm like "YEA GIRL LOL NEGGED." Later she and another girl and another guy are going outside to grab some fresh air cause it was really hot inside and she taps me on the shoulder and says "hey do you want to come outside with us" so I follow along and talk to her for awhile. The other girl that came out w/ us was all talking me up and like "yeah this dude's basically a genius and an awesome poker player" and I have no idea where any of that was coming from but it was pretty sweet.

Anyway, long story short "some chick" left early w/ another girl cause other girl had a headache, so I didn't a goodbye or anything which was sad. I did Facebook her when we got home and she accepted the next day and then Sunday night I sent her a message like "hey let me get your number" (it was going to be a completely goofy and over the top "I think it was fate that we met on Saturday" message but 2+2 friend proofed it and was like lol this is way too strong, standard goofyballer imo) and she gave it to me so I guess now I call her and try to romance her up on the phone. She's really cool and cute and has kittens and wants to save the whales. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
