Guess the joke would have been more obvious if he just named himself, "GoPittsburghPirates_BucsIn06!!!"

[/ QUOTE ]

Do you mean the obvious joke is someone who would be proud to be a Pittsburgh Pirates fan?

At this point, everything, including the statistics, is circumstantial evidence. But it is definitely starting to pile up. A lot. Like everyone else I am anxious to hear what FTP has to say.

Wow, 11 hours from being posted on 2+2 and the zoo digs up the name of one of the botters.

I wonder how long it'll take FTP to respond to this.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would you like his home address and phone number?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes

A super nit with a win rate of 1.5 against all players would get beaten pretty easily by a better than avg NL player.

[/ QUOTE ]
You are missing the point. Even if they didn't beat NL200, they might beat NL100 or NL50 which reduces the dead money available at higher stakes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Also not the point.

The point is not that the bots can win. The point is that if the fish find out there are bots on the site, they will go away.

This is really a PR issue, not a strategic issue.

Or both, I do agree with you.

Is anyone curious as to what FTP has to say about this?

I still have seen no hard evidence of any "botting" or whatever you guys call it.

Full Tilt might consider your complaints harassment AND LOCK YOUR ACCOUNT.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. Right, let's see here:

1. Any reasonable person would consider this beyond the realm of statistical possibility that these stats would be identical for people playing simultaneously.

2. OP posts evidence and a new poster shows up to defend the accounts. This poster has a Pittsburg related name and a Pittsburg Comcast address.

3. Charles Kuruzovich has a profile on pocketfives that is linked to one of these accounts. Guess where Charles lives: Johnstown PA, a suburb of Pittsburg that is served by comcast high speed internet service.

4. dlk9s might be able to point out something interesting about Brandon's account that is directed at OP.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yup, definitely looks suspicious and weird.

FWIW - I lived in Johnstown for one summer and don't believe that anyone there would consider the city to be a 'suburb' of Pittsburgh.
It's about a 1:15 drive.
That's a total nit-pick though.
It obviously leans extremely heavily to the Pittsburgh sports teams.

Im curious, but it doesnt really matter. It will be meaningless, they obviously don't care. Reading all the FTP threads in this forum over the months really makes me wonder why people still keep playing there tho.
