Big game vs. Detroit tonight.
We are deadly at home, we have the 2nd best home record in the EC to Chicago, so I think we have a shot tonight.
Our chance isn't that good, but I want that 2nd seed. Washington will probably fall to 7th and it would be better to face Detroit in the EC finals, rather than the semis.

Actually, I think it's a sinus infection...and I don't think the Wiz will lose the 6th seed. Also, if they do, pray we take the 2nd seed from the Bulls because a determined Nets team could be pretty tough in a series.

Huge game tonight for the Raptors. Although now that Detroit has cemented 1st seed, they don't need to play desperate ball and can see some of their starters taking a rest. I don't see the Wiz losing 6th though so the Raps should be in a good spot either way.

So it looks like we're going to need some other team to upset the Pistons if we want a chance to get into the finals.

This isn't a great match-up for the raps.

Haven't seen them shoot this bad in a while, Detroit must be making it tough on them.. I need RapsTV next year.

Detroit is obviously the best team in the east and I don't think the Raps are on that level just yet, especially with the playoff experience.. Sheed/Prince/Billups/Hamilton have been a unit for a while and have made championship runs in the playoffs before on several occasions... For most of the Raptors this will be a new experience, but in time I think we can get to the promise land.. Miami is getting old, Detroit has come back to the pack a lot the last couple years compared to 3 and 4 years ago.

Cable TV ratings for the Raps weren't that great in the first place. I can't imagine how low they must be on the specialty channel.

(I know it's only like 2.50/mth for RapsTV but they're still alienating a large portion of their fanbase. The same can be said of Leafs TV, which I had for a while then cancelled. I'm not sure MLSE is straining for income...).

wooooo! Raps win. Although I didn't see a single Piston starter for the entire game but anyways, a win's a win. Weeee!!!

Now for my two pennies.

1)Humps was absolutely outstanding tonight. 18 rebounds tonight a new career high. He may be the answer we were looking for in the rebound department. Getting more minutes now and he's been awesome. Can someone please tell me what Utah was thinking when they gave up on him?
Rafuel Araujo, LOL! steal of the century.

2)While we're at it, why is it when the game is on the line TJ is always the one that makes the final play?

3)Anyone else think that Parker should get more looks? Without a doubt the best shooter for the Raps, makes me wonder why he doesn't shoot more.

4)Another great game by Joey G. Doing a great job as a starter now and he's gaining more confidence. Haven't really seen much of Joey's boneheaded plays for a while, I love it.

5)That's enough of Detroit that I want to see. It'll be real bad news if/when we see them in the playoffs.
