So i just finished play my first 100 sngs at FT's $12 turbos, and here are the results:

Finish Number Percent
1st 16 16.0%
2nd 11 11.0%
3rd 14 14.0%
4th 8 8.0%
5th 20 20.0%
6th 14 14.0%
7th 10 10.0%
8th 5 5.0%
9th 2 2.0%

Statistical Info
Tourneys 100
ITM 41
ITM% 41.0%
ROI 16.3%
$ per T $1.96
Bubble survival% 83.7%
(if top 3 pays)

As you can see, the number of 5th/6th finishes are ridiculously high (i think?). This may be a leak of mine. Fwiw, here is usually when i double up/bust. I dont suppose anyone has any advice for me regarding this? Shillx? I know you play sngs (quite well, I'd assume)

In other news, i hope Neteller doesnt go out of business; I'd still like to bonus whore with neteller.

Edit: a hand from my 100th sng. Note, i rarely (never) do this:

SB: t1350
Hero: t1500

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to t85, 3 folds, Button calls t85 (pot was t145), SB folds, Hero calls t45 (pot was t230).

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t275, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets t135, Button folds, Hero calls t135 (pot was t410).

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t545, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets t345, Hero raises all-in t1280, UTG+1 folds.
Uncalled bets: t935 returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: t1235

You need to set your birthday to visible in your profile or something like that. And happy birthday.

So, I recently came to the realization that poker hasn't been fun for the last couple months or so and I need to quit for at least a few months; the way things are going that might turn into forever. I have no idea what I'm going to do in its place on multiple fronts. I also have no idea how much attention I'll pay to 2+2 but I have email notification for my PMs.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

[/ QUOTE ]

Take a month off. I did that for December after a couple bad months of downswing. I feel better about it now and my tilt is better, but still not completely under control.

Also, please transfer your complete poker knowledge to me in the mean time so I can put it to good use. You could also try not playing 5/10 short-handed and go to something profitable like NL. We should all move to NL.

Last night I witnessed the worst turn peel I've seen.

This dude held 22 & called a turn bet on a 4455 board. As expected he hit the 2 on the river much to the disgust of the guy holding A3!!
