There are some non-1st rounders in this draft that should be good in the pros. Jason Hill, Jayson Swain, Steve Smith, Rhema McKnight, etc.

Great hands and route runner, very productive in college. Proved he was faster than people thought at the combine. Aundrae Allison should also be solid. Yamon Figurs will be able to contribute as a returner/special teamer day 1 could find himself playing time at WR as well. |

Anyone have input on Amobi Okoye? I'm only really hearing about him now. Current performace/size plus he's only 19 yrs old seems really sick.

He has a sick amount of potential. He'll either he a Pro Bowler or a total bust.
He can have an immediate impact, but it's more of a project investment deal. |

From what I've read, Okoye has the body to develop into a Richard Seymour type of player that can play inside in the 4-3 or end in the 3-4. Supposed to be really smart.

A good friend of mine worked the combine for the NFL network as a camera man / mic operator and he raved about Okoye. I asked him who impressed him the most and he said Okoye and Paul Posluszny, fwiw.

I'm just grateful my Saints picked him. |
