And with all the action that's assuredly coming in on the Steelers' side, I don't understand why the line isn't moving in the opposite direction.

Why? I cannot find any words to that effect on their website, so please let us know if you know otherwise.

I believe what you say was speculation by 2+2ers, but why would it matter? The promotion is still up and being offered both on their front home page and in the promotions page.

Does anyone know about this?

For the bettors who may be concerned with one point who have bet:
miami+4 and
pittsburg-5

You will probably be able to find a prop bet a few days before the game and bet exactly that steelers win by 4 points. I am not sure on the payoff for a prop bet but I am thinking a small side prop bet for insurance may be ok although you can compare that to buying an extra point if needed.

I didn't sign up through any of them, but personally I wouldn't sign up through the Brandon guy out of principle since he's been spamming threads on multiple boards here telling people to sign up through him. But that's just me.

Secondary confirmation, from live chat. The promotion is still valid, you just have to be sure to take the -4.5 line if you place your bet now. It doesn't affect people already locked in, but for those of you still needing to bet the terms state you must bet at the "minimum handicap," meaning take the -4.5, or if the line shifts again, take that. DO NOT buy or sell points when taking this bet, or else you will void the offer.
