When I opened IM it told me it had to upgrade, I dl'ed the upgrade, then during the subsequent installing I got a message saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unvailable", what do i do? It say something like "the older version of idleminer cannot be removed" or something.

You need to manually delete Idleminer and redownload and install. To do this go to add/remove programs in the control panel and have it remove IdleMiner. Then go to the idleminer fodler in the programs folder and delete it. Download the program again from the website and it should function normally.

Is there a browse button on the error dialog? Also what version of idleminer are you trying to use. The version information can be found at the top of the file log.txt in the idleminer directory.

yeah theres a browse button, next to it it says "use source:" the text says that it wants "an alternate path to the installation package "idleminerinstaller.msi""
i tried playing around with the browse and finding the right file but i kept getting the same error message. version 1.22 |

some suggestions: -create a "Close All Tables" button allowing us to close all tables without closing the Lobby via the "Stop&Kill PP" button-just convenient -at times it seems IdleMiner is not automatically choosing games with highest average pot sizes-it should automatically prioritize opening tables with highest avg. pot size-I'm sure it does this but a couple times I noticed it wasnt doing this and it was opening tables at the buttom of the list. -enable the abilty to choose a specific # of tables to mine when you are mining more than one level ie if I want to mine say 9 NLHE tables and only 3 PLHE tables-now it just splits the 2 evenly 6 for each-problem is for certain limits at certain times of the day there are not enough games. I also noticed if there are NOT enough tables of mixed mining the program does not fill in tables from limits that are available so say if I choose NLHE and PLHE and there are only 2 available PLHE tables -it will only mine 8 total tables and it wont fill in the balance form NLHE. [/ QUOTE ] care to comment on these observations |

I think you'll be pleasantly suprised with the next update, which should be out sometime this evening. |

I'm trying to use idleminer but PT isn't able to read the HHs. I have made sure the directories that idleminer outputs to and PT imports from match, and they do. When doing the import the message says 31 files found 0 imported.
I'm using a postreSQL or whatever database and only converted today. This is on a new PC and PT has never had a hand imported yet. Please help! |
