I'd say about 750 left by 6:00pm

[/ QUOTE ]

It'll be less if last year is a good guide.

According to the original plan, they're supposed to play down to 600 tonight.

[/ QUOTE ]

I say they finish today around 8pm, and have no dinner break with about ~450

There's no way they'll stop at 8pm. They'll keep playing and reduce the field way below 600 before they do that.

Will they still stick with there - haha - goals for each day and if they reach them, just quit early or is it possible they will actually have another day off??

A
Jeff Kanow, who survived the first round for round play with $100 was just all-in for his last chip. On the hand there was a raise to $4,000 with 4 callers. The flop comes AdiamondQheart10diamond, seat 2 pushes all-in for $76,000 and is called by seat 6. Seat 2 has Aclub10spade for two pair, while Seat 6 flips over KspadeJspade for the straight 10-A. Kanow hasn't looked at his hand yet and when he does turns over AheartQspade for top two. The turn is the 3spade and the river is the 5club, Kanow and seat 2 are eliminated. Kanow said that the hand was only the 2nd flop he's seen in the over 5 hours of play today.

Crowshaw Takes Down a Huge Pot
A player in mid-position calls preflop and James Crowshaw raises to $4,000. Both blinds call and the player in mid-position also calls. Four players see a flop of QspadeJheart10spade and the mid-position player bets out $22,000, which Crowshaw calls. The blinds fold and two players see a turn of Adiamond. Crowshaw's opponent pushes all-in, having Crowshaw barely covered and Crowshaw calls, showing KdiamondJspade for a straight. His opponent shows 10club10heart for a set of 10's and will need the board to pair to win (or a King to split). The river brings the 5club and Crowshaw takes the pot to up his stack to $100,000. His opponent is left crippled with only $8,000 left.

I can't believe some of these pushes on the bubble...

I don't remember them ever quitting early last year. I distinctly remember on the 3rd(?) to last day that the TDs announced they were going to play another level and were greeted with boos from the whole room of tired players.

Didn't they play down to 18 on the second to last day in 2005 when the plan was to only play down to 27?

Phil Hellmuth, who is currently sweating Hans "Tuna" Lund, has come over to grace the table with his rhyming skills. Hellmuth has adjusted the lyrics of the Notorious B.I.G.'s Hypnotize. Lyrics are below.

"Tuna, Tuna, Tuna, can't you see?

Sometimes your play just hypnotizes me."

"Somebody's gotta die...."

Maybe the worst moment in WSOP history, if not all history. TG I was w/in running distance of the bathroom when I saw this on CP.

I am proud that I searched this thread before pasting it in here 'new', or even starting a new thread about it.

May I have a cookie?
