Some PHX fan tell me, is Diaw still on the team? [/ QUOTE ] no, and I'm not sure if Marion is either Two things the Suns do that I think is retarded but probably won't change. 1. They've been acting like Parker can't hit open shots for 3 years, jesus christ stop coming under the screen and giving him 600 feet. 2. Doubling Duncan and still letting him go off for 30. Seriously just try to play him straight..it's not like he's going to score 80 That call at the end of the half was not debatable at all btw, was a bad call. I'm not going to blame the refs though, but I'll say that the home team usually does get the most calls and the Suns definitely didn't in this one. The most comforting thing is the Suns got outshot AND got outrebounded and still were right there, and obviously the thing with Nash. I don't expect them to get outshot in too many more games this series. |

DEAR GOD,
I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT I DON'T BELIEVE IN YOU, BUT PRETTY PLEASE DON'T LET ANOTHER SUNS INJURY BE A FACTOR IN THE RESULT. IN '05 JOE JOHNSON WAS OUT FOR THE KEY GAMES AGAINST THE SPURS, LAST YEAR IT WAS RAJA BELL, AMARE, AND KURT THOMAS. PROVE TO ME THAT YOU EXIST BY NOT MAKING NASH'S INJURY MATTER IN THE OUTCOME. THANKS NGA. TUP PS - PLZ BAN CLARKMEISTER. |

It's hard to shoot >50% when you are shooting contested jumpers the entire game. How many fast break points did PHX have? I can't find it in a boxscore anywhere, but I don't remember a single one. Also, don't count on the Spurs playing as carelessly with the ball as they did in the first half today. They gave up way too many possessions with stupid turnovers. I mean, you can count on Mr 4TOs/4PFs in 10 minutes Vaughn to contribute some, but the rest of the team won't be that bad. Those TOs are the reason the game broke 100 points. It certainly had nothing to do with PHX's pace. |

These playoffs have had some remarkably terrible clock management. Houston pretty much forfeited their series by letting Utah run off clock, NJ bungled the hell out of their last possession today, and the Suns fouled a good FT shooter with 35 seconds left. Weird.

I'm not feeling the hate towards the Suns on the late foul. Let's say they let the Spurs run a play, and they run it down to 15 seconds before taking a shot. Here are the possible outcomes:
- Spurs score, Suns down 4 - Spurs get fouled, Suns likely down 3-4 - Spurs miss, get their 7000th offensive rebound of the game, Suns forced to foul - Spurs miss, Suns get the rebound Only one of those scenarios is better than what actually happened. Bottom line, the Suns couldn't execute, and while I'm not biased enough to sit here and say LOLZ SUNS WIN IF NASH IS IN, truth is they probably execute that possession better, not to mention the other failed ones in closing minutes while he was busy hemorrhaging blood on the bench. I also feel a slight urge to pull an RJ and bitch about Amare's third foul at the end of the half and the Barbosa/Parker tangle-up that resulted in literally a "free throw", but not sure that any of those things made enough of a difference. |

Fly, The Cavs are like Lakers East but somehow with even LESS talent around their star. I think they'd get totally pozzed by the Pistons and would be heavy dogs against the Bulls too. [/ QUOTE ] your first point is so absurdly wrong. if you dont realize that the cavs with hughes, sasha, varejao, gibson and gooden are far better than kwame, smush and walton then you have a reality problem. only spot lakers are better than the cavs is odom>gooden. your second point is pretty bad considering cavs have played well against the bulls for the last 2 yrs and took detroit to 7 games and were really close to winning game 6 and the series (only needed a rebound.) |
