[ QUOTE ] Just watching this game I dont really see anyway the Suns can win this series unless they just go off in a game and Spurs play poorly. They have no answer for Tim Duncan and Parker is to much for them to guard. Spurs win this in 5. [/ QUOTE ] Totally disagree, I'll still take Suns in 7. The spurs are not going to shoot .500% often, Parker and Finely just had a good night. They also didn't prove they can keep Pheonix under 100. [/ QUOTE ] $50 on Spurs...care to wager? |

[/ QUOTE ] You really think they didn't have a chance if Nash had been able to play the last 2 minutes? [/ QUOTE ] They had a chance with or without Nash. But at home in the first game, you should be protecting a lead in the last 3 minutes, not be trying to come back. I don't agree with the OP though. The Suns have more than a chance; I think these games are all going to be close. |

Question: this setup obv doesn't work for winning a championship...so you have Marion/B. Diaw plus most likely the #4 or #5 pick from Atl....what move do u make if any?

Not a lot to say here. That call on STAT at the end of the 1st half ended up having an even bigger impact then I thought it would cause it caused them to start the 2nd half with Marion on Duncan. I knew it was over once Nash wasn't able to come back in....they absolutely need him to close. GG Spurs, game 2 is obviously a must-win for the Suns.

Fallen Hero,
D'Antoni is getting is share of comments and well deserved too. You have to admit that when the collision happened you thought Parker must have had his head cracked open or his neck broken or something, it looked like a wrestling move the way his feet came out from under him. The slow-motion replay was greatness b/c watching Nash the entire way was pretty cool, he didn't flinch or anything. I have been anti-Nash too so it isn't like I am bias or anything, just saying what I saw. |

[ QUOTE ] tony parker deserves player of the game for taking nash out. i like how during the collision parker goes down and starts crying and then nash is like, 'you ok?' minutes later blood gushing out. spurs are such [censored] pussies. [/ QUOTE ] this forum is funny, I can just imagine the comments if it was Tim Duncan talking to the refs the way D'Antoni did [/ QUOTE ]LOL. What do you expect people to say though? Barbosa made several blunders down the stretch. That foul away from the play was just sooooo stupid. |

barbosa was a [censored] at the end, but the announcers said parker flopped, it did look like a foul when i watched it on tv.
