Lee,

I also will follow El Diablo and others and play at Party until you reconsider your stance on cheating.

Its just not worth the risk in higher limit games.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lee, I too have taken this stance. I appreciate the many great things that you and Stars have done for online poker and I will return to Stars if I feel that Stars is the most aggressive in enforcement and punishment of online cheaters amongst the major poker sites. I am withdrawing today and I will be sending an e-mail to support if anyone cares to read it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Lee is in a tougher spot than a lot of people are giving him credit for, and I'm surprised that the people who think Party was unreasonable for taking ZJ's entire roll (and there are people besides ZJ who feel that) aren't coming to Stars' defense.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Lee handled the situation with Justen perfectly. Pokerstars has no right to take puntative action against him. Permanently banning him has to be a huge loss to Justen, especially coupled with the party banning.

Lee's stance on softplaying in ring games bothers me though.

I agree with all of this. The stance on softplaying is completely unacceptable, however, Stars' action in the ZeeJustin case is well-handled.

Pokerstars has an obligation to take punitive action against him. It's an obligation to their players.

Right now, to the average person, Pokerstars' stance is:

"Come and cheat at Pokerstars, the worst that can happen to you is you lose your buy-in. We will ban your known accounts, which doesn't really matter because we let you create and play with two in the first place, so I'm sure you'll be able to register a few more. You can also soft-play and chat-collude any time."

Even though I'm an "other poker" game player, I do play O8 at 'Stars. Well, I did. I'm cashing out today.

Judaism is a religion

Then, explain why most of my jewish friends (all well as the majority of Israel's population, I think) are atheists?.

If you read my "correction" , it reads "jewish", not "judaic".

[ QUOTE ]
The reason you chose to do this is your reason.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, it is.

[/ QUOTE ]

So we can assume you don't rent to Jews... how about Blacks? how about Asians?

Your posts speak volumes in ignorance.

I assume that if I went to a casino and cheated at blackjack, I would only lose the money that I was up and not the cash I brought to the casino? This is what all you pokerstars defenders are saying?

"No, you can't take that money too, I won that playing Roulette!"

"Ok, you can keep it"

No, it isn't. Read the response by Stars employees and it's painfully obvious that you are misinterpreting the judgement to fit your preconceived notions of the site.

Pretty stupid reason to leave, but whatever.

Please refrain from all further discussion on anything related to people being or not being Jewish, Jews, Judaica, or Judaism in general. It has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.
