Rance Mulliniks

The Mulliniks/Dane (or was it Garth) Iorg platoon combo at 3B for Toronto was deadly.

From the first Rotisserie book I ever owned:

Marvell Wynne_____OF_____$1

Marvell Lose

---

For some reason, that always struck me as funny.

[/ QUOTE ]

Best line ever was maybe in the same book. After listing some random middle infielder for $1, entry for next middle infielder, listed at $1:

Anyone got change?

Wish I remembered the names. I probably still have the book (from '83, '84 or '85) buried in a crate somewhere. It was the original rotissere..

Tito get me some tissue.

That bastard broke my heart in extra innings of '83 ALCS with a 2 run homer to left off Britt Burns.

That book was awesome.

The entry for Bob Walk was "Should be named Bob Hit."

Also, for Gary Gaetti: "Found Christ and lost value."
