I don't get why Manning supporters are so over-defensive. Ever since I started posting on this forum I have always said that imo Manning is the current 2nd best QB(behind only Brady) and a top 10 and potentially top 5 QB of all time currently. I've also said that if he has a great 2nd half to his career that he could have a shot as the greatest of all time, although I don't envision that happening. On a ton of occassions I've been called a "Manning hater." It makes no sense to me.

Yesterday I thought that Manning was the 2nd best current QB and one of the top 10 ever. I still feel the same today.

That made very little sense. How can he be not as good as Brady with a first half of his career that is better than Brady's yet still have a shot for best QB ever if he has already outperformed him?
