Its funny that you accuse me of use arguments when they're convenient to me and ignore points against my side because thats exactly what you're doing here. I'm trying to look at Brady's overall body of work in the first half and you're merely concentrating on the bad plays.

I have Tivo, and I can go back and watch the Brady "near INTs" if you want me to....I'm pretty sure that the DB was diving and the ball was off his fingertips on both. Thats a huge difference.

However, I think that I've admitted that I'm wrong about things(Eagles, Vikings this year in the NFL for example) as much as anyone else on this board has, so I fail to see why you single me out.

At first you might think thats due to playing an easier schedule, but you'd be wrong:

In addition to playing in this tougher division the Jets also played tough out of division games against Indy and Chicago.

The Jets are 10-6 and have outscored their opponents by 21 points; The Seahawks are 9-7 and have been outscored by 11 points.

But you are right- Sometimes there will be two teams with identical stats and I will still feel very strongly that one team is better. I may even call one team a "smart team that just wins" and another team a "bad team that has gotten fortunate." How can I make such a distinction? Because I watch the games and formulate my opinions based upon that. I think I have been very clear in stating that most of my opinions come from watching the games and from hearing analysis from people I respect. I rely upon stats only as a secondary means. And based upon watching those two teams, I am very confident in saying that the Jets are a smart, winning football team and that the Seahawks are a very bad team for a playoff team.

Am I always correct? No, not at all. But I usually try to have intelligent debates by writing out my views clearly and with mostly correct grammar/spelling. Addittionally I never insult anyone or try to make them feel stupid for having a differing opinion. Overall, I simply enjoy good debate. I would love for you to have a differing opinion. I just wish that everyone here would choose to have a friendly debate with me instead of sometimes taking things personally.
