This bit of Suzanne Vega's "The queen and the soldier" has always struck me as true in some way:

And he said, "I want to live as an honest man
To get all I deserve and to give all I can
And to love a young woman who I don't understand"

[/ QUOTE ]

Ugh, more tedious mystery-making from the femme side. I hate that crap. I need real people.

a few things.

being able to tell someone everything. i have a really hard time revealing certain things about myself for fear im going to get dumped for having the slightest bit of baggage. someone who understands me like this and is compassionate like that is priceless.

someone who encourages me to work my hardest everyday, be the best boy i can be. a lot of my ex's were potheads like me and we managed to make each other less motivated. motivation is huge.

someone who i can relate to. if they have an interest that i can get interested in them with, whether it be poker, soccer, or anything outdoors. it seems like a common theme is developing, we do things together. <3 the beach.

someone who can call me at like 11pm and we can talk until 1am. not that we HAVE to, but that we want to.

someone who is very touchy feely, i looooove to cuddle and kiss and all that stuff, like probably slightly more than sex. therefore i cant have a gf who doesnt like to be touched or some bs like that.

personality. not only does she make me laugh, but i can make her laugh. compatible personalities strike me as being incredibly important.

someone who can tolerate me jumping up and down and yelling and showing them how awesome a goal was all day on saturdays <3.

that being said, i have all this right now <3

i didnt read everybody's but, i look for someone who is generally happy about life, in a good mood most times, and doesnt bitch about every other thing that comes up. that is most important. a genuine and caring side, cares about other people, with mutual attraction not being an issue. and if she wears glasses, that always makes them more attractive for some reason.

Not just a one night stand, but a long term relationship. So please keep the 'big titted nympho whore w/ double jointed legs and a wide set vagina' comments out.

I'm seriously asking what it is that guys are looking for.

old lady t1ts. (elongated and used...used, working breasts)

I used to have a huge vibrating device in the basement, it’s a fridge, but never built a love machine. The equation was just my attempt to appear intelligent to a woman, that is all there is to it because I always felt insecure with intelligent women since my IQ is about 6 or 78, something like that. In reality I’m a very romantic guy, very emotional and sensitive and believe in the one true love and stuffs like that. I agree with you that you cannot use logic to explain love.
