Trash Can Sinatras – probably still “Obscurity Knocks” from their first album.
Camper Van Beethoven – “Take the Skinheads Bowling”.
Dead Milkmen – “Bitchin’ Camaro” (possibly “Punk Rock Girl”).
Mission of Burma – “That’s When I Reach For My Revolver”.
The Replacements -- “Bastards of Young” (but so many awesome songs it is hard to say).
Crowded House – “Don’t Dream It’s Over”.
Split Enz – “I Got You”.
English Beat – “Save it for Later”.
Violent Femmes – “Blister in the Sun”.
Echo and the Bunnymen – “Seven Seas”.
Public Image Ltd. – “Rise”.

Challenges:

Husker Du
Gang of Four
The Pogues
Billy Bragg

[ QUOTE ]

If the story I heard is correct, Mozart wrote "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" when he was 3 so that'd be him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Mozart wrote variations of the preexisting tune. So I'd say that's out.

For Mozart, I'd say his signature is "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik"

Beethoven - his 5th symphony is in the running too...

Good picks dude. I would say the Pogues would be "A Pair of Brown Eyes" or maybe "Fairytale of New York"

Steely Dan - Reelin in the Years or Do It Again
Santana - Now it's probably Smooth, but let's go with his actual band phase. Evil Ways probably?
Allmans - probably Ramblin Man, Elizabeth Reed and Whipping Post might be in the consideration.
