Bump for Copa del Rey final today. Not really the liga and sadly it's on telemundo which I don't get. Hopefully the guy on the Sevilla message board I frequent will make a video like he does for all the games.

I think Sevilla will win and somewhat comfortably. I'll say 2-0. Getafe is the darling story with the amazing comeback of Barcelona but Sevilla are a significantly better club with much more experience having played 3 finals (counting the European SuperCup) in the last year y pico. Having said that, all year on their Getafe have been amazing having stuffed both Real Madrid and Barcelona. In the league both matches were tight. Sevilla won at home 1-0 and they drew 0-0 (story of the season ) in Getafe.

WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to leave early so I missed the last few minutes on the radio. Sounded like a pretty good match.

What a campaign!
Started with a 3-0 pummeling of Barcelona in the European Supercup, several weeks on top of the league, an amazing last ditch comeback goal by Palop against Shaktar, repeating as UEFA Cup Champions on penalties, finishing 3rd in the league and winning the Spanish Cup.

If you offered this at the beginning of the year I would take it in a heartbeat. Sevilla met or surpassed every goal set out at the beginning. Hopefully the run can continue next year.

Congrats. Hope you make it into the group phase of the CL as well. Anyway, I have a question about the Copa del Rey. Is it an open cup like the FA cup where clubs of 2nd,3rd .... etc. are allowed to play in it or is it closed to just the 1st division?

It's open. The first couple rounds are only lower-division teams, much like the FA Cup.
