the official lost the match when he let figo get away with a headbutt, then let the same player bamboozle him into sending bouhlarouz off. if figo was off straight away has he deserved to be, this would not have descended into anarchy, and holland would probably be thorugh.

The entire English nation should pitch in and get something for this referee. He's handicapped Portugal 6 days before we ever play them. Perhaps a nice pair of ear-warmers for him to use in Novosibiirsk while working the Russian Seventh Division matches he'll probably be working after his perfomance tonight?

What a joke with the extra time. You don't give enough time, there's a bunch of stoppages, and then you end it anyway when the time is up.
LOL at Deco and the last Dutch player chillin' on the sidelines.

I haven't read any posts in this thread, but I need to rant.
The Netherlands are such stupid pussies for not being able to score. Their strategy to tie things up when they had 10 vs 9 was to chip it in and hope to get fouled in the box to earn a PK. Instead of diving constantly, they should have just finished the goals like men. Over and friggin over they just chipped it into the box, hoping for a miracle.

how many breaks can england get in a WC? they have a group with T&T, Costa Rica, and a sweden team that looked nothing like they did in qualifications. they play ecuador in the round of 16, and now they're playing a portugal side w/o deco.
