i am currently -$576.15 in my 1/2 adventures after 4.5k of the most wildly outrageous hands i've seen, plus the induced megatilt. starting at 4pm cdt, i will be playing until i am even. i refuse to leave a red parentheses number on my stats summary page.

mission accomplished - after being down over 1k, i am now +260 and climbing because donkamania is still runnin wild, and the cold decks have been cut back (still there, though). i knew i could beat this game if the cards came close to breaking even.

Why?

Guy is nit who isn't prone to C-R. He calls out of blinds and could have any hand without a K in it(AQ,AJ,1010,jj,77,66,55, etc, etc, etc)

You don't CBet here especially when a good majority of the time in that spot I havbe AK or KQ instead of QQ?

This is a HU pot btw...If this is a standard flop check then we may have found my leak and that is continuation betting.

Prodigy,

As much as it pains me to say it, "Phresh is right". We've all been where you are. You where around here at the start of the year, weren't you? Where all of Jan and most of Feb the monthly thread was my personal bitchfest of bad beat-o-rama. Or pokerboy, you were around for his bad run(s) too, weren't you?

Srsly, drop down man. Dropping down to $50NL was the best thing I ever did. And I still jump around between $50NL and $200NL on an almost daily basis. People are, way, way too wedded to their buy-in level. What matters is 1) your sanity and 2) your earn. If you consider the high stakes players, they bounce around between levels all the time due to game selection and game availability. There's nothing sacred about being a $200NL player or a $100NL player. The universe doesn't give a [censored] and society sure can't tell the difference. They're all just shades of degeneracy...
