I am aware that your marketing guys liked ZJ. Say this cheating thing hadn't happened and ZJ had done well in a few more EPT's, maybe even won one. What were the chances of him becoming a Stars sponsored player once he hit 21? |

[ QUOTE ] curtains - imo, if the PM's are nasty or threatening enough I believe you should copy/paste them and report them to a mod. just because it's a 'private' message does not give one the right to be especially nasty...and they certainly aren't allowed to threaten you. [/ QUOTE ] But what if the threats and insults are made in confidence? Then it would be wrong to betray that trust and snitch. [/ QUOTE ] It is too early here for that craziness! curtains,
You are correct. I misstated what you said - you did not say that ZJ's life is ruined. You said: "My main concern I suppose is those people who seem so excited and joyful about ZJ's demise and want to go out of their way to basicaly ruin his life." I still believe this is being overly dramatic. People are for the most part just wanting to see this kid banned from online poker sites and poker tournaments. That's a far cry from wanting to ruin someone's life. As I've said elsewhere, ZJ is a young white kid in LA w/ more money in the bank that most anyone his age. People can hope for a lot worse than what has happened to happen to him and his life would still be far from ruined. |

I think it's fair to say that some in this thread want to see Zee's life completely ruined.
And I agree with curtains that this kind of enthusiasm is a bit concerning. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] he's not talking about ZJ. this has been discussed at length, it's about stars cash games. [/ QUOTE ] In SNGs it would be horrible cheating, in cash games I really can't see what harm it does. [/ QUOTE ] You must be joking. [/ QUOTE ] No, not joking. If two of my opponents decide that whenever they are left heads up in a pot in a cash game they check down, I can't see that it hurts me or any other players in that game. Enlighten me. |

This is from ZJ's statement:
[ QUOTE ] Secondly, almost all of you have broken the rules at some point. How many of you have created a second account for rakeback? Neither creating a second account nor receiving rakeback is allowed. Both are expressly forbidden. Maybe you’ll see things my way once all your money is seized for doing that. If I’m a cheater, so are you. [/ QUOTE ] 1. you cheated so there is no 'if' 2. receiving rakeback is not "expressly forbidden", it's the affiliate using rakeback as a sign-up incentive who is breaking Party's rules 3. creating a second account is against the rules, but closing your own account and opening a new one can all be done with Party's consent - and even when you create a 2nd account and are open about it, party will call you and close your first or 2nd account for you. Also it's pretty low to put multi-accounting a MTT on the same level as opening a 2nd account for whatever purpose, only because both are against Party's rules. It shows that you seem to really believe that the TOC is the only guideline for what can and cannot or should not be done on an online pokersite. You should consider taking Diablo's advice more seriously, Marnix |

[/ QUOTE ] Are you serious? Let's see, is there perhaps an incentive to get heads-up if you know you will have to make no additional decisions and risk no additional money once you get there? Does this incentive have an effect on your equity in the game perhaps? Please read this Cardplayer article and let me know if you are subsequently "enlightened." Linky |
