My ability to start threads in BBV4life

BBV4L has the capability of being very good, but I think the policy of it being a catch-all dumping ground for off-topic, all-filler threads just encourages people to fill it with mindless drivel. I think dismissing it as being the dumping ground just perpetuates its tired mediocrity.

(There's also a legion of coattail-riding MFers who do a horrible job of copying the best posters without having 1/10th the panache.)

I'm really not like that at all. I do happen to find EricW's brand of trolling more insulting and offensive than most, yeah. But describing me like this is pretty LOL and I think more than a few people will attest to that.

No, because I think it's really offensive to people who actually are going through the stuff he fakes-- not to mention it's incredibly insulting to the intellect that he pretends it's real. Of course, his threads badly written and badly conceived on top of that-- they're just uncreative and not funny.

I dunno, I'm probably oversensitive to the homophobia on this board (CUE DUDEWHOBLEWNATH GIMMICK LOL), but I've always been oversensitive to any kind of bigotry, and coming from a pretty tolerant and open-minded group of friends IRL to this is jarring.
