I certainly recall not long ago ZeeJustin debating the issue of hallingol and twin-caracas softplaying each other at the tables. His standpoint was that he bases his ethics on what the outlined rules of play are and that since there was nothing written about softplaying, he didn't consider it unethical in that certain context. Well using multiple accounts in the same tournament is clearly expressed as being against the rules so I have no idea what his excuse will be for this but im looking forward to hearing it.
The topic of "if this is cheating or not" is not really up for debate. Maybe if it wasn't clearly written in the rules that its not allowed there would be a debate, but since its written in plain text, it's really not a question of if it's cheating, it is. The pokersites laid out what rules must be abided by, by all players or else there are certain consequences... and ZJ/JJ broke these rules. There is no argument whatsoever that can be made for if it's cheating or not. |

Why do any of you really care? Are you all upstanding in your own lives? Have you ever cheated before? Have you ever made mistakes in your own life? Well guess what, even the best players in poker mess up, just like everyone else. If this was some joe schmoe who plays 11 dollar sit and go's who gets caught doing something like this, no one gives a flying [censored], but since it's a high profile player everyone is quick to grab the stake and wants to nail him to it. Even if this is true, which I think it very well is, who cares? What goes around comes around, cheater's might win today, but eventually they get caught.

Playing 2 accounts in the same single table tournament would be an enormous advantage. Absolutely giant. I don't think playing 2 accounts in the same MTT makes much difference at all unless both accounts end up at the same table near the end of the tourney.

Two accounts with the same IP address can't play at the same STT on party and stars. On party if you've logged onto you're account from my computer, or if you and I have a history of transfering money then we can't play on the same STT either.

[/ QUOTE ] I think a lot of people care because they have paid to play in many of these same tournaments. When they put up their money, they didn't expect there to be 6 ZeeJustin's in the field or how ever many JJProdigy's, etc. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'll be the first to admit it if I'm wrong, but I would MUCH rather have single-entries in ten STTs than double entries in 5. (I think, at least.) It's just that dumping in a SnG doesn't double your prize EV. Or am I completely missing the point? |

Call me cynical, but I dont want to be playing against ANY 2 or more people who are on the same IP together. [/ QUOTE ] Can't say I blame you now that I think about it.... |
