also speaking of the mar del plata guys i dont think theyre bots. i used to play against a guy named pablostar (super [censored] nitty) @ 50nl like in Jan and he plays 100/200nl now. i guess people never learned to not pay him off.

One reason is because perhaps he did happen to win the Supernova freeroll the one weekend for like $10.5k, not to mention any roll he had before that...

lol good point, i didnt know he won that.

Anyone up for a prop bet, any cash up to 50 000 hands

This isnt a "I will win bet" its a "ILL LOG HANDS SO I DONT LOSE" bet.

If your having trouble logging hands, these are pretty motivating

i got 20 days this month out of the 31, so you've got the edge

I never quite understand this. If you are manipulating the pot beforehand to make yourself commited on the turn you are deciding beforehand that you are going t get all in no matter what. If you decide this then what does it matter what line you use to get there?

[/ QUOTE ]

close. you're manipulating the pot preflop to make commitment easier, either by making it profitable to get all-in against opponent(s)' likely range or by avoiding some of the tough commitment decisions. doesn't work all the time, but it can really hope hone your thinking and play. also, it's great for adjusting to deep or short stack sizes -- it works with any stack.

once you hit your hand you then reevaluate and decide whether it's good to get all-in. however, if you set it up right preflop, you'll say "yes" more often and can also target what you want the SPR to be to maximize your earn in all-in situations.

bah too complicated to get into her I don't type fats enough. can't wait for you to read it!

I understand the concept that is underlying this article, or at least ithink so, my problem is the example you used. I very well understand that a 6bb raise preflop makes it easier for us to commit the only problem is that we canīt just raise 6bb with hands that we want to comit ourselves with and raise 3bb with hands that are too weak. My question is here how do you balance this play? would you start raising 6bb with 89ss from utg from time to time?

[/ QUOTE ]

balancing is a different topic that won't make it until volume 2. very important topic though, and you have to balance lines as well as preflop ranges once you face tougher opponents.

with 100BB stacks and current online game conditions, there is no perfect raise size for AA/KK. you either have to suck it up or play a different stack size.

I'm not sure I get the offer. We set a number of hands, say, 40 thousand. If I meet that number, I win? Or if we both meet that number, neither of us win? Or what?

If you dont hit the number, you send the cash to the opponent.

If you both lose, you both send cash - But since it cancels eachother out, you dont bother sending any :P
