[ QUOTE ]
A girl like Suvari has such an odd looking fivehead that she especially could do well with them. But I don't like the type she's wearing, that stick into the eyeball and you have to see through and just pretend you and everyone else is ignoring. I'm not a big fan of anything that makes you act or look unnatural or like you're overtly trying to be fashionable. Fashion should make the person come into focus and look more attractive, not turn attention toward itself by flapping its arms like a loud drunk going "Look at me, look at meeeeeee!" [/ QUOTE ] Very nicely said. (hehe, fivehead ) |

[ QUOTE ] the ties on the left and right are two ties I have bought at Lilly for David. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] If your boyfriend/other friends are not auditioning for these kinds of roles, please don't put them in the awkward position of having to wear these monstrosities to avoid hurting your feelings. Ties are not meant to be outrageous and/or the most-talked about item of clothing at parties. They are meant to be complementary items that set off the gentleman's suit and shirt, without shouting. [/ QUOTE ] Ok I hear where you're coming from. How do you feel about pastel colors when it comes to ties? (yellow, pink, green?) |

Blarg, You like these bangs better? [/ QUOTE ] I dunno, they still look like they'd poke her in the eye. I guess I'm a fan of eyeballs not being poked. I don't see any reason for bangs to not end at the eyebrow. Frankly, she's got her ear sticking out, but only on one side, and her hair is frizzy and going every which way - she looks sloppy, like she should run a brush through it or something. |

[ QUOTE ] So, what did you buy today? Any shoes? [/ QUOTE ] I did! I went to Marshall Fields and tried on these... but the straps were uncomfortable. So, I found another pair and am debating between the ones I bought and a pair I have here. So...I will have to post both to get opinions. [/ QUOTE ] Ok-I will get opinions but I have an idea which way this will go. I debated posting this because for some odd reason I am embarrassed... Ok I hear where you're coming from. How do you feel about pastel colors when it comes to ties? (yellow, pink, green?) [/ QUOTE ] I'm the wrong person to ask, because I don't ever wear pastel anything. Pastels make a gentleman look like a dandy or Peter Prep School. Maybe both. But don't get me wrong--there is nothing wrong with wearing brightly colored ties. A sharp red or gold or green tie can look excellent with any number of combinations. And I think that a pastel might be okay in a men's tie IF it were not one of the dominant colors in a tie. But probably not. |

I don't really think about bangs one way or the other. I guess it's a little weird if the girl is constantly trying to move them out of her eyes, but, between Reese w/ a feathered cut and no bangs vs. Reese w/ a feathered cut w/ bangs, I couldn't tell you which I prefer. I will say I'm a sucker for the big glamour curls that Reese is sporting in that first pic, so if she can't pull those off w/ bangs, then I guess my vote is no bangs.
Mrs. U, It's hard to say which shoes I prefer w/o knowing what you're wearing them with. Paired with a little black dress for going out, I'd take #1, but paired w/, say, one of Fluffpop's white sundresses, I'd take #2. |

I think that bangs on someone is so dependent on their face and hair. Some people can easily go both ways.
Same goes with length. Some people look great with shorter bangs... ![]() Bangs can look youthful especially when they are short or too short. I think that you have to have the right face for this-and body type too. ![]() Sometimes...well I don't get it... ![]() I like longer bangs. ![]() ![]() or somewhere in between
