i was bb in this hand with at offsuit, dont know if i like my play, i think i should have rr preflop, how do you guys like my play also, bg, thought u were making a move with a draw, but couldnt call w/ a high nice play [/ QUOTE ] If you want to make a move, take a line that you'd also take with a strong hand. This line looks completely FOS to most people, because you can not have a strong hand here unless you slowplayed the flop with 7x/99 or floated OOP with KQ/KJ (assuming you RR AK). I also don't like floating OOP much at all. Yeah, you're often going to have the best hand on the flop, but your opponent is good and aggressive. He's going to make it difficult for you to continue on various turn cards. The good thing is that you have an A, which he'll probably try to represent, but you're going to hate life on a K, Q or J turn. Preflop I usually just fold, but I'm a nit that can't play this hand profitably OOP against a good player. AJ+ I usually RR. fgators/futuredoc, I've come to realize that Stars 1/2 is pretty tough if you're used to filleting fish. However, the typical TAG is pretty straightforward and easy to adjust to. If you can do that, Stars 1/2 is beatable for a good clip. |
