yeah the desmond back story and penny looking i think is the most interesting out of everything, but maybe that's just cause we've had so much jack/sawyer/kate/et al and not enough des. more others back story is sweet.

But there still is a boat then. If Michael and Walt could get off the island by going a certain direction, so can the rest of the losties. The sub isn't the only way off the island.

I haven't read any spoilers, so this isn't fact, but I'd say there's about a 1% chance that we never see Michael/Walt again.

I have not read any spoilers or anything. i just think it's silly to think the writers will or won't do anything yet on this show.

I don't think this is really a spoiler. But don't read if you are worried it might be.

The producers have said in past interviews that Michael and Walt will appear again at some point. Not sure when it'll happen, but I think their storyline isn't complete by any means.

based on that statement though; it could be as part of a flashback (like the airport scene)

i do personally think they will be back though...walt's story hasn't been finished (IMO)
