isnt SS PLO the least variance laden game with one of the higher WRs? I had like a one week PLO expedition and i seem to remember a bunch of the articles saying you could beat it for double or triple the WR of NLHE which in turn cut the variance and breakeven stretches down a ton.
If thats true, just study up, post some hands, and move over to the $50PLO. You will be killing it in no time. |

This thread is great. I think an over / under of six days on you quitting is reasonable. But you should not feel any shame when you fail - as you have delivered a lot.

[ QUOTE ] why dont you just play $25PLO instead of these micro sngs??? [/ QUOTE ]I think I'll play a little more PLO and a little less sngs. I like variety and I want to be able to master several different types of poker. [/ QUOTE ] You will not master any game at micro stakes, at 25 you will get into bad habits that will cost you huge at even low stakes games. If I was you Id set mine at 25nl for a while (7pt easy playing nitty) then move up to 50nl where you would probably start earning more than driving cabs. |

[ QUOTE ] why dont you just play $25PLO instead of these micro sngs??? [/ QUOTE ] I agree you are D-O-M-I-N-A-T-I-N-G PLO. [/ QUOTE ] QFT! Also, PLO is a fairly low-variance game where you can frequently exploit huge edges in equity so despite your borderline sample size i think its safe to say you're a huge winner. |

What script/tool do you use for automatically registering yourself to a SNG (spacebar)?

When I first advised wickss that he needed to start this thread and bring this information to you fine folks, I thought the thread had enormous potential; I had no idea it could become legendary. As for those of you setting the over/under at 6 days, I beg you to believe me, when I tell you: YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE LEVEL OF WICKSS PERSISTENCE. Now...unfortunately sometimes he is a bit bull-headed. I have been telling him for a really long time that he is a very solid plo player and he should be focusing on that. If he does begin focusing on that what will do that concerning our majestic thread in the stt forum? I do certainly hope you will allow us to stay, we feel this is a good home for this thread. The creativity and imagination of many of you is impeccable; the way you tweaked those pics is outrageously funny. This thread truly is becoming a masterpiece. Keep up all the fine work sttf!!

this thread has inspired me to fire up a manic 9-table 6.50 session . and since my current bankroll is just a hair over $100...~50% of my roll will be invested to start up the first 9. busto/robust TR follow up to come...wish me luck

wickss: Have you given the FPP program any thought? You'll be a SilverStar in five days playing 100 SnG's/day (6.50's), a GoldStar in another 6 days and a PlatinumStar in 10 days on top of that. Which would be roughly 20 days from now! This will give you access to some nice freerools, the weekly 20k and 50k which you should play. On top of this you'll have enough FPP's to "purchase" a hefty 32" LCD monitor by August/September
But why don't you play PLO more, you seem to do much better at that then the SnG's your playing? |
