Interestingly enough, not one PRO at our site has suffered
a hacking. The same is true with our top-drawer players who have more
than $200K in their accounts. These folks have never complained that
their account was hacked. Why? Because they invest in anti-virus
programs and are really careful with their passwords.

[/ QUOTE ]
WTF? Do people seriously just care about $200k and not $100k is that what he is saying? Is he by chance retarded?

[/ QUOTE ]
He is saying that the security breach is on the player's end, not on the end of FTP itself. Because if it were, the $200k+ guys would be getting hacked first.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think that's what he's saying. He's saying that $100k doesn't matter as much as $200k. Your answer doesn't make sense please try again...preferably after you're done acting like a retard.

[/ QUOTE ]
You are wrong, winterGT is right. And you are the one acting lika a retard.

[/ QUOTE ]
No, he isn't. How do people know how much people have in there accounts? They don't, they see people sitting in big games and try to get at them. She's saying that people w/$200k care more about security than people w/$100k. This is pretty obvious.

[/ QUOTE ]

holy [censored] [censored]. biggest retard ive seen on this site is definitely you hud.

[ QUOTE ]

We beg to disagree with you on your observation that our security
measures are not up to standards. Full Tilt Poker too employs secure
socket layer (SSL) encryption to ensure the highest level of security
for data transmission. All hacking incidents at our site happened not
because someone has been able to hacked through our digital pipelines
and decipher every binary stream of data that pass through those pipes.
No, most assuredly not.

[/ QUOTE ]

if this was possible, the hackers would know who has the most money in their accounts. What winter said is 100% correct. and if u don't cy u r hopeless.

Jc,

This is actually my first post on 2+2 but had to reply.

I work for the largest newspaper in England and would like to do a story on your plight. It can only help your current predicament and will certainly go some way to make sure firms such as ftp tighten their security.

It wouldn't be a slating of ftp as such. It would be an article showing the dangers of hacking coupled with the 'lifestyle' of you and oteher pros. It would be nice to get a real perspective from someone who is not a 'named pro' and how it affects your life. Just remember the email address and send me a line when you feel comfortable.

The largest newspaper in England is the Sun which is a trash paper, the story would likely be scaremongering, and you can't run it without someone's name based solely upon an internet message board (although if it is the Sun thats probably more evidence than you normally get).

however given your internet address is from Cambridge University my guess is that you want to break into journalism with this scoop to impress a future editor.

Either way jc I wouldn't get in contact, poker is advertised everywhere in england at the moment, don't kill the golden goose!
