LOL this is funny:
After we win, I tune into the Fan590 and people are still talking [censored] about TJ Ford. And the people who call in have no clue what they're talking about and are probably frustrated Leafs fans. |

ya The Fan's callers have always been like this for the most part... but I think that holds true for almost every city.
Nice win tonight, I'm CALLING OUT TJ FORD, wtf were you doing at the ft line tonight?! j/k. Washington's been getting hit with the injury bug lately, holding off Miami for that 3 spot is imperative at this point.. |

Arenas apparently out for 3 months. Facing the Wiz is looking more and more attractive.

Big win last night. They're now 2.5 games up on Miami, with 2 tough games in their last 4. They need to hold themoff to get home court in the first round. Looks like the Wiz will hold off NJ for 6th, that'd be sweet.

Does anyone know the scenarios where we'll face the Wiz? Like what has to happen for us not to meet them in the playoffs?
And does anyone know when they'll be raising the banner? I want to be at that game. |

Scenario with Raptors remaining as 3rd seed:
Washington is 6th with 6 games to play and 3 games ahead of NJ, so with the assumption that Washington loses all 6 remaining games, NJ still needs to win 3 of their 6 (maybe 4 if the Wizards has the tiebreaker) which won't be a easy task. Big game tonight between the Wiz and the Nets. Scenario where Wizards remains as the 6th seed: Raptors are currently 2.5 games ahead of Miami for 3rd seed. Miami has a relatively easy schedule remaining, and Raptors have 2 against the Pistons. This is probably the most likely scenario with Miami possibly going 4-1 or even 5-0 down the stretch. The Raptors will need to win 3 of the 4 games to ensure themselves the 3rd seed (assuming Miami goes 5-0) since Miami holds the tiebreaker against the Raptors. If Raptors fail to hold the 3rd seed, they will be dropped to fourth and most likely face either Cleveland or Chicago. Other scenario include Raptors taking the 2nd seed (IMHO, very unlikely given the schedule) which will mean the Raptors will likely play NJ or Orlando in the first round. |
