DaveR,

Let's clear up some stuff and then move it to PM. I thought I had an insatiable appetite for hate (and burritos) but even I'm starting to feel full after gorging on these threads all day...

- I haven't made a post about you and your insider threads in awhile. That topic IMO is completely played out.

- I respect and deserve your Chipotle digs. For one, and I don't expect nor care if anyone believes me, I've been fighting a stomach issue for about nine months now (I mentioned this to Alobar), and recently got on medication to get through it. Re: the bet, I did a lot of research and asking around on the prop bet and found out that while there was a decent chance I could win (particularly since I eat like crap, which ironically is part of the reason for my condition), the damage done to me could be pretty serious. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't have brought it up and I jumped the gun. I may still do it if the consequences of welching are that bad. Bear in mind really the only posts you direct at me are related to the bet, and I do LOL when I see them, and not in an angry or mean way.

- Overall you seem like a great poster with a ton of history at 2+2, just with an annoying tendency for cliquishness at times, including a disdain for OT-only posters. Again, played out, point being I gave up bringing it up awhile ago and don't plan to in the future.

- I don't have any previous accounts, thus you're imagining any slight. Must have been someone else. This can be IP verified I would imagine.

- I would get killed, but if I somehow pulled a Villanova over Georgetown the site would be losing a valuable contributor.

Sorry for the long ghey response. Please PM me if you want to continue the exchange, or respond in this thread if you feel the need, but we're veering way off-topic.

Stuey,

"people try to change the rules to be sure he has no chance."

What? Nobody is trying to change any rules. Survivor is very straightforward. Two people face off. One of them no longer posts in OOT.

All people are doing are suggesting that this actually be enforced for db as it would for any other poster.

Even you must acknowledge that db's intent was basically to use RJ as a pawn here as part of his attention-seeking challenge. I think that is wrong and hope it backfires on db.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree RJ was used as a pawn here. But once this thread started it has to remain that way. That was the way the deal was struck and you must admit you are trying to change that after several people have voted. You don't like the way things are going so you are using every trick you got.

RJ knew he was being used he still accepted cuz he thought he could still win. I like that fact that DB found a way to isolate a victim. I don't like that people are changing the rules now that it looks like it could work.

Has DB outsmarted you all?

db,

"Okay let me clarify by example. I was thinking more about the time someone asked about some site or link, and it was obviously a spyware site or similar, and El Diablo was encouraging n00bs to use it cos he was in a bad mood or something. I warned them not to. That sort of thing.

I tried to find a link to this, but I can't - which is a real shame. Blarg may remember it though, we talked about it by PM - I remember saying what a lousy thing it was to do."

This of course is a lie. You should be banned for lying about me here in a defamatory manner.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lol. Serious business.

I do hope Blarg turns up and remembers this. no, it happened.

[/ QUOTE ]

db you are really not helping your case here

[/ QUOTE ]

Yah, I'll shut up till I find the link.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah DB I remember that thread. Let me look for the link in my favorites. I remember I called him on it and he told me he was going to rape my sister. Now where is that link...

Again, this is all so [censored] up to me. 4 people wagering enforced exiles backed by their word (which means something) against an unenforced exile for someone who's shown and stated that he's likely to go back on his word?

here you go: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...part=3&vc=1

Not quite how I remembered it, but you were suggesting to people that they click on links in emails from 'banks' to update their details. I felt I had to step in to make clear it was a joke to people.

Apologies, I overstated what you did. I thought there was actually a link in the thread, and there wasn't. I found your encouragement to click on such things a jerky thing to do though.

tup, Daver:

Yours is the kind of Survivor battle I would not like to see and do not think should occur here. Just like I will not accept a challenge from Stuey because he is a valuable contributor, I do not want to see you guys agree on this challenge.

Don't agree, as there may be some pressing need I can't forsee.

Potential pressing needs:

Your favorite fingers?
Movies middle-aged men can watch alone?
Foods that remind you of counties in your area?
Final meal before going on a plane trip to Slovakia?
Pens or pencils or mechanical pencils or crayons or markers (also chalk)?

[/ QUOTE ]

High quality.
