Probably should've bet/folded here, but this guy had a tendency to call down with two pair hands, rather than a raise. I dunno. This hand sucked.

I've been adding so many bluffs to my game lately. I used to subscribe to the 'bluffing is not necessary at uNL' school, but they're freaking amazing. Example:

I raise J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] from UTG. Good LAG (27/15 type) calls from the SB.

Flop comes K42r. SB checks, I bet $1.60, SB calls.

It's obvious he has a pocket pair here. He most likely reraises AK preflop and folds KJ. He could've KQ, but that and 44/22 are the only hands he doesn't fold to second barrel.

Turn 2, completing the rainbow. SB checks, I bet $4, SB instafolds.

Next hand vs. an unknown:

I raise from the CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Button calls.

Flop comes 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet $1.50, Button calls.

Turn 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet $3, Button instafolds.

Next.

CO raises to $0.50, Hero reraises from the Button to $1.85 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Button bets $1 (LOL I HAVE A MEDIUM POCKET PAIR, DO YOU HAVE AN OVERPAIR?), I raise to $6 (YES I DO ROFL), Button folds, showing 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I notice you mention bluffing a LAG.

Bluff the nits, not the LAG's.

You can't bluff a bluffer is pretty accurate statement.

I like the way Aba talks about it in his well thread -
Basically
Keep taking parts of nits stacks with bluffs
It only takes one hand to stack a LAG

Way too simple a statement. This wasn't a LAGtard, he could fold. Think about what he can have on that board that calls a flop bet: KQ, TT-22 (I think JJ/QQ/KJ are unlikely given the preflop action). I also think he either check-raises or leads the turn with 22/44.

With my turn bet, I rep AK+. He's still not folding KQ/22/44, but I probably fold out TT-55 and 33, more than 50% of his range. Looks like a profitable bluff to me. Note that I do usually have a fairly tight image.

Standard loose-passive fish. 41/0/0.5. Yes. QJ looks more likely, actually.

Jigsaw I'm not convinced you're very good- some of those hands are slaughtered, IMO. Perhaps post some so we can help you?

I'm not convinced I'm very good either. Just criticize them here... if you'd like. I only think the AJ/76 hands are debatable, though.
