As long as he keeps jumping in at the back and throwing the westside symbol, he's okay by me.

I think it is silly to try and compare me with those all time greastest players like Hellmuth and Unger. Those guys are old school. I am the new generation. Hopefully, after 10-15 years I can show the world my skillz and can be a seriosu consideration for that list.

I agree that he is going to go far but I still think that people are getting over excited. He's had an amazing start but has done nothing to make himself an all-time great.

At the end of the day he has only won two bracelets (yes it is likely he will win more) - but then soi have lots of people.

Guys,

I just want to clarify. I am not saying all these other guys you are mentioning suck. I am just saying that they are not at the level of the guys in my initial poll, which is focused on the cream of the cream, the true all-time great legends of tournament play.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have never heard of Madsen. How can he be an all time great. You said he just started playing this year. Maybe he's hot. But in order to be an all time great you have to have longevity. I vote for Hellmuth. T. J. should be mentioned as well as Dan Harrington. John Gale and Hachem, do not belong on that list, and whoever this Madsen guy is definitely does not.

As El Diablo has stated many times, Harrington is a great poker author but not really a true legend of the game.

Diablo I had a piece of two people in the SAME wsop final table this year. Part of being a good tourney player is knowing when to buy/swap pieces of other players who are going to win, because no money is better than money others earn for you. How many of the guys on your list consistently produce like that?

I don't want to speak too soon, but the great Jeff Madsen is in pretty good shape in the $1000 Stud 8 event that started today, so he may well have a chance at his third bracelet this year.

[/ QUOTE ]

He'll most likely win this bracelet, but for the purposes of this discussion, I think the Stud 8 bracelet should really only count as 1/2 a bracelet. This is because since 2 people win every Stud 8 pot then it's twice as easy to win the bracelet.

But still 2 1/2 bracelets is not a bad first year.

This may be the post of the month!

Are you trying to argue that you are better then Doyle, Hellmouth and the rest of the legends that El Diablo offered? You've won like what, one tournament? I know you're a good player but I think you need to learn some respect.

Does anyone think Schneids belongs on this list?

I have won a few NL MTTs online too. I'm just pointing out my diverse tourney skills...
