[ QUOTE ] $19/hr but I would guess cost of living or taxes to the gov't would be a different story. btw, $9.50/hr for 40hrs/week is plenty [/ QUOTE ] Sure, but we are talking pro's/con's of job vs poker. And living cost here are such, that you have to do fairly well of poker to manage, crushing 25NL would not be enough, but it seems that thac can double his hourly rate by eight tabling 25NL. All the do not quit your daytime job advice seen quite often from so many american posters suddenly rings very hollow [/ QUOTE ] Ya seriously.. who can't make $9/hr playing 25. I'm around that at a 3 table average. At 25/hr this month from sngs after getting back into them. |

their range is pretty much defined from their position.. if they are in late position repop them with any 2 if u feel like it. Check raise their c-bets or donk/3bet them.. since they raise donks 90% of the time. If they raise early u know they have a pair or Ax KQ.. so u can check raise them or raise them on most flops and they are either gonna fold or u are gonna know what they have if they call or reraise. [/ QUOTE ] slipping into dangerous waters if you try playing back at TAGs too much....remember, they're bad TAGs. Calling them IP and calling/raising their c-bets is much easier IMO than playing OOP and repping a hand with a c/r |

The C/R OOP stuff is very dangerous .... listen to Jonyy and just abuse position instead.

I was giving a general strategy, obviously don't come over top of people every time lol, since they won't have crap every hand. I reserve the repopping preflop for the ones that open any 2 on button/cutoff, and I still don't do it with crap usually.. sc's sometimes.. pairs.. ATs stuff like that.

I SB 32% of the time playing 19/16, but after a while people really start to play back and I'm uncomfortable with it. I can't imagine stealing 45%.

Notice I play a bit looser than that ... and while I may sound full of myself right now, you can also see that I dropped a healthy chunk trying to learn how to play this way some posts back in this thread
Still not sure, if I have it right |
