lol... i thought about moving to his left when i saw him... i guess some ppl just give that "i'll-take-care-of-your-chips" aura... in hind sight, that seat change probably would've made a 1k difference...

I forgot to mention this before, but DD reminds me a lot of a whale. Not the gambling kind, but the ocean kind. It's sort of hard to describe exactly, but when he's in a hand and thinking he has this way that he moves his head/body that for some reason makes me think of whales.

Nice to meet you bigjoet, impressive stack. You should have taken a shot in the 40 it was the sickest game I've ever seen. I had two sets beat and still managed to win 2k.
HOWMANY would you have 3 bet my set on the turn against mo when he had 24o? Keep in mind I only had bottom set. I'm very happy I remind you of a large sea-mammal -DeathDonkey |

Probably not, but I'm a nit. The thing about the Wizard is that once he goes lots of bets on the flop and he has a huge hand he seems to just keep raising while with a draw he'll generally stop at about 4 or 5.
I would never worry too much about donating money to him when you have a huge hand and he has you beat for obvious reasons. If there's anyone that deserves borderline reckless action it's him. As insane as he is, he will also bend you over if you start to pay him off with K/A high every hand because against aggressive nonretards he somehow understands when they don't have a pair and will bet close to perfectly while I have seen him actually check pairs against passive players. Also that one hand where it was like 86464 I had T9s. |

I think you should have coldcalled preflop with the T9s, psycho on your left would probably just coldcall. I never would pay of psycho with ace high because he was super loose passive but Mo got paid by me a couple times because he earned a few. I was trying to find a balance as I know what you mean, he figures things out postflop sometimes.
How sick was this hand: I limp with A7cc, someone limps, Mo raises, it comes back to me capped 6 ways I think including BB on my right who is a quiet sort of TAG guy who doesn't quite get it. Flop is 862 one club, Mo bets, BB calls, I call. Turn is K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Mo bets, BB checkraises, I coldcall, Mo 3 bets, BB calls, I call. River K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] checked to Mo who checks. BB says "I missed" and mucks out of turn (wtf?) I show A7 high, Mo sighs and mucks. Shipit. That game was amazing because of how people would put in four bets preflop and then fold for one bet on the flop routinely. Incredible really. -DeathDonkey |

Not trying to pass judgment on anyone here, but personally I think getting a massage at the poker table is gross. But that's probably because most of the people at Commerce who get them are the most disgusting group of cretins you've ever seen, their flab overflowing outside their silk dress shirt, sweat beading on their chest hair while they roll their eyes in tempered pleasure -- their head drooped over the back of the chair while they feebly shove chips into the pot two at a time, often coughing quietly.

I was about to call but changed my mind at the last second. I was expecting it to just get capped 6 ways preflop for gambol when I 3bet but even the way it worked out with HU in position against Wiz was okay with dead money from limpers.
The A7 hand was hilarious because it's sort of hard to believe everyone had a flush draw since it was a backdoor so I guess seat 1 had a straight draw that he was embarassed to show since he's usually so tight and wouldn't have a 97 or 75. I would have showed just in case both of you had 54 and missed, plus I take a sick pleasure at showing down 7 high and announcing my hand proudly. I also think there is a possibility he mucked the best hand. |

I believe he had me beat. The look on his face for the five minutes after the hand appeared as though I ran over his puppy.
